FAQ
How long is the AP Calculus BC exam?
3 hours and 15 minutes: 1 hour 45 minutes of multiple choice and 1 hour 30 minutes of free response.
What does BC add to AB?
Units 9 and 10 (parametric, polar and vector functions, and infinite series) plus extra topics inside Units 6 to 8.
Where do most students lose FRQ points?
Unsupported answers. A correct number without the setup, or without units in context, often earns only part of the points.
